My Trialmaster has been at the dealer since 12/4. They are still waiting on the picnic table, checker plates and seat covers to arrive. Said I can take it next week and come back for the rest when the hitch fix is ready. Debating, as it is a 3+ hour drive each way.
Go get it now. They can ship you the accessories later and you can easily install them whenever you want.

They are starting the paperwork and will call me to set a date tomorrow or Saturday. So, I should have it by the end of next week. (y)(y)

Maybe a holding pattern waiting to dock like planes waiting to land? A ship not under power would just drift with the current, so maybe they run a pattern till space is available at the port? Your captain looks like he is using a random pattern!
Wondering if it is waiting out a storm in its path across the Atlantic - easier to "circle" under power and not drift vs long out to the way trip in the Atlantic.

The chaos seems to have settled down. There has been a change of captaincy and we're away!

I’ve been doing some research on shipping and came across this website: https://www.importinfo.com/search

It shows the vessels that have entered US ports, gives access to BOL numbers, shows who the shipper/consignee is, and shows what commodity is in the BOL.

In the search form, type “Grenadier” in the “Commodity” cell. It will list several BOL for Wallenius Wilhelmsen.

View attachment 7829216

The one listed as WLWHBE2355599 has 42 Grenadiers that were offloaded in Brunswick, GA.

View attachment 7829217

Other BOL show several trucks dropped in Baltimore, Port Hueneme, and Tacoma.

If you go to the Wallenius Wilhelmsen website and click Track and Trace, you can see what is on the BOL: https://www.walleniuswilhelmsen.com/track-trace

Remove the WLWH from the BOL number you pulled from the ImportInfo query and place it in the search. Search using the BOL Number. Type “BE2355599”

View attachment 7829218

The Cargo ID of the items on the BOL are the VINs of the 42 Grenadiers that arrived in Brunswick 10 August 2023. (Note 10-08-2023 is European date for 10Aug23)

I have not cracked the code to see what is already manifested on WW ships headed our way before it reaches our ports. The ImportInfo website updates after the vessel has arrived in port.

You can search on the Wallenius Wilhelmsen website to see which vessels are leaving Zeebrugge and heading to Baltimore, Brunswick, Port Hueneme, Tacoma, etc.

Note: the ImportInfo website only allows for a few free database searches each day. Workaround is use mobile phone on cellular.

Enjoy!!.

Thanks very much for this. I couldn't have done it without you. I now know my vehicle arrived on November 18th and was released by customs on November 22nd. I guess they have had a few hiccups on the inspections otherwise they would have got it to my local dealer by now. Probably both the hitch issue and the aux power relay wiring thing.

Yikes. That's a long delay. How far are you from the port? (you can put your city in your profile. I don't think it's risky).

A good and unanswered question. I sent an email to RDS this morning for an update. My configuration included the Tow and Auxillary Electric packages - so double the delays I suspect.
There is no delay for the aux. switches. The inspection literally takes a few minutes during the PDI.

I have a Trialmaster with tow package and aux power. It's sitting in my driveway. I think the backlog is literally moving the Grenadiers. They have hundreds to transport from the port to the dealers and the size and weight limit the transports to 3. I understand they tried to ship a double stack to Mossy IG in CA and the truck hit a bump. The Grenadier over was heavy enough to flex the transport rig and smash the safari windows of the Grenadier below. So, no more double stackers.

Website is reporting expected delivery as 4Q-23 soft seems they aren't going to meet that deadline. I submitted my pre-order on June 14th and they confirmed it as pre-order #9866 on June 28 2023. The VIN was reported to me by Mossy pretty much the day it cleared customs, but there has been no hint on the delivery timeline, other than indications it would slip due to the wiring harness issues that have cropped up.

Again, there is no added delay for the wiring inspection.

I’d check with Mossy and see what is going on. My truck just arrived at my dealer this morning and I have the tow hitch option and auxiliary option. Your pre order is before mine

As in you ordered the tow setup but it is not yet rectified.

Anyone smarter on this than me able to help me find my Grenadier?

I got a phone call today from my dealership and got my VIN number. They are saying its at the port in Belgium awaiting shipment. I tried using the sites and techniques in the OP of this thread but the recent ones are grayed out seems you need a membership of some sort. Does anyone happen to have one or could maybe help me figure out what ship my Gren is destined to be on?

Thanks! :D
