Two inch lift, anybody.

Eventually I want to run a 35", then 37" tire further down the road. So my main concern is what will it take to get to that from a lift and gear stand point. A lift that allows the full range from 33-37" probably makes the most sense. These little 1.5" lifts or what ever will not do it. Probably need 2-3". From there making sure all wheel travel ( sway bar disconnects also) and geometry is correct. I do not want 10,000.00 in stupid shocks that get rebuilt every 3-6 months. I tried those dumb things on my Power Wagon( Fox) and after they gave out at 9 months I went to a slightly better Bilstein and could not be happier. I am not rebuilding my shocks every year.

More information, please. Eibach is based in California.
Hey Sela Green,

Yeah - the main American distribution center is in Corona, California, but Eibach is a German company based in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. As you probably know, they are well-regarded in the industry.

My two cents: if I were buying a suspension lift for the Gren today, I would go with the 30mm lift provided by Eibach. They make the stock springs for the Gren and must be very familiar with the Grenadier's suspension.

The only Eibach springs are 30MM or 1.2" is what it shows on the site.
I'm only going on what this owner has said, he has the lift and said when he measured it it was 40mm, maybe they need some settling?

I don't know how progressive springs work exactly, but you could try that.
I was just trying to figure out how someone was getting a 2" lift. I'm not particularly knowledgeable in springs either. Well, anything for that matter 🤣

There was some mention from the guys that fitted the lift that there was a limit to lifting a Grenadier, he mentioned the rear suspension links and brake lines, the latter is an easy fix, the former is not.

I support what some others have said - the 30mm Eibach setup should be the best there is as they are the OEM for the IG.

Good stuff. The more we dig, the more we learn.

Well, now I'm even more curious.
@Sela Green Grenadier with the lift and 285/70/17s

I like it. MrMike.
Eibach has released the springs outside the US. The US distributor are getting them in stock and quick testing is being done prior to release on US shores. They should have hit the US in December and release is soon.

The shocks, however, will be a little more complex, but King has already been looking, so I'm waiting on their input and options.
King already has shocks available for the Grenadier, sold through SLRV Expedition in Australia I believe

I have Eibach springs on order(I am told they will arrive this month Jan'24) and would be interested in other kits that allowed for lift and travel. I assume the aftermarket will come out with this over time. So yes I would be interested,

I have a feeling if you want to go 37s you will have to completely re design the suspension. As I mentioned earlier the guys who fitted the lift said the factory rods limit this, it was never designed to be a rock crawler.
