TSA Not Available

Driving back from Big Bend to Austin today, I had a warning light and message, "TSA Not Available". Didn't seem to affect anything and I wasn't towing a trailer, so not sure what was going on. It appears to have reset itself after getting home and shutting the vehicle down. I can see some references to this in combination with other ESC-related warning lights, but I didn't get any of those. Has anybody else experienced this? It came on after about 6 hours of driving, so I'm not sure if that played a role. The most annoying part was that unlike the tire pressure warning, I couldn't dismiss it and get it to stop popping up every 30 seconds on the info screen.

I have had the same TSA UNAVAILABLE error pop up a dozen or so times as well. I’ve never towed a trailer with it. Sometimes it will turn off after a few minutes of driving but if it doesn’t, it always clears after a restart.

It is slightly annoying that you can’t permanent clear it when it pops up. Hoping there will be a fix for this and several other little niggles via software update soon. I am nearing my 12k mile service and hope to have this addressed when it’s at the dealer.

I have also had this error pop up randomly. Probably a dozen or so times in the 2500 miles I have driven the Grenadier.

Shutting down and restarting has always seemed to clear it out.

Yep, same issues happened to me, on numerous road trips, the trend I have documented with the dealer and in my notes are, it's usually longer highway speed trips (>100 miles in length or 2 hours) and is seems to be triggered by any sudden movements of the wheels, when you are changing lanes, trying to avoid something like debris in the road, etc. Dealer went in the system and checked there are no permanent or temporary codes on it so it seems to be another gremlin. The annoying part is if you hit the TSA button it doesn't reset. As mentioned above and like many issues with the electronics you need to turn car off and on to get everything reset.

I'm more concerned that it's a safety issue that if you need the TSA will it actually work? Cause if it's being triggered/disrupted that easily, what will happen if the car actually starts a skid or slide?

Just had my 12k service at 8k and had them address a bunch of items, this being one and they said there was no update for this but they logged it with INEOS and suggested I do it as well. Therefore, all of us experiencing these issues need to formally file them with ineos to make sure it's added to their backlog of things to address.

I’ve seen this too. Seems to be on sections of roads where multiple lines have been painted and it’s not clear what the lane is. I get the Take a Break message a few times, then the TSA Unavailable pops up. I’ve also seen it when quick swerving to avoid something too. My guess is that it’s intentionally turning itself off because it thinks it’s unreliable.

I have my 12k service coming up in a couple weeks so I’ll be sure to note it with the dealer. Thanks!
