What is the difference between TOUGHER'S Tough Polycotton fabric versus the 100% Cotton Canvas?
Polycotton is harder wearing than cotton, that is why we began using polycotton fabric first. But some people prefer the cotton because the weave looks and appears harder wearing than the polycotton, but it in fact it isn't. It comes down to personal preference in appearance as it is a thicker weave.
Take a look at the colour swatch image below. The grey and the second light khaki from the top is cotton weave. You can see the difference in weave.

It was finally warm enough for me to get these on. They are kind of a pain to put on, but just take your time. I have nothing but respect for people who do upholstery all day every day. So far, so good. Fantastic product like everyone else has said. I'll give them a couple of weeks and snug them down some more.

I bought them from the forum store and it was super easy and fast (except for the 2 day UPS weather delay). It was a fair price and I hope it helps with the cost of keeping the lights on here.

Now if Dissent will just build my sliders I'll be done for awhile. (he tells himself)

Awesome! Yes once you have sat in them for a while, the fabric " settles", then you can see where needs a bit of tightening. Looks great! Enjoy them!

Tatum, for next rev of the fitting instructions jt might be worth a reminder to users that the front seat covers are not identical - there’s a right hand and a left hand.

Maybe that is already written and I just missed it

Before you came on the market, I purchased similar from M&M. Very happy with the product and service however, your fitting instructions are as good as they get.

Just want to give @Tatum and the entire tougher crew a shout-out for superb customer service. Got a set of bags in the same matching sand color canvas , material as my seat covers. One of the bags had a cut in it. Must have happened prior to shipping because I saw no tampering of the packaging when I got the bags.

Sent the team at tougher some pictures over Christmas and they quickly said they will send me a replacement. I was very happy with the bag that came, it's perfect.

I think this is a truly great company to do business with and they have a great product. Highly, highly recommended!

I Highly recommend the seats and dash cover! My experiences on installation and ordering:

Ordered directly from Tougher this month and they arrived within a week to Colorado. Not sure the exact times as I was dealing with som serious family issues and I was out of state in Maine. Got home this Friday and took on the installation.

I went with the charcoal front seats and the dash cover.

Outstanding quality but for ME, this was not an easy install.

The dash cover was my first of the products. Unfortunately for me the 3M tape was not adhering to the dash after cleaning and a couple of isopropyl scrubs. This was due to the temps and no fault from Tougher. I also got some finger oils on the first “tab”…..suggest folks use gloves to avoid screwing the adhesive up. The remainder of the tabs went smoother after the gloves and cranking the heat up in the Grenadier for 20 minutes or so. After heating the tape up and warming the dash things went much better and very happy now!

Moved on to the front seat covers and the center console cover. The center console was a piece of cake and now the dogs can climb on and over it without fear of damage to the leather. Very happy!

The driver side covers for the front seat was not fun for me. I elected to stop last night and gave it a shot tonight.

I was very apprehensive about the straps interfering with the heated seating electronics under both seats. I took my time and managed to get the driver side done. This took over an hour for me and I was not pleased with myself so I moved to the passenger side. That was much easier as I knew what to do but I would not call it easy….for ME….others probably could do this in half the time I spent.

Once I adjusted the seats in ever imaginable position it was much smoother. Went back to the driver side and it went much smoother!

The biggest pain point for me was reattaching the silly elastic clips that are on the back of the seats that are an Ineos design. Some busted knuckles and 3 beers later I got everything sorted.

Now for the GOOD!

The covers are outstanding quality! The reason it took me some more time than most is I was Very meticulous about securing the extra strap lengths so they were tucked in and out of the way.

The seats and dash cover fit like a glove! A lesser product might be easier to install but after some busted knuckles I am Extremely pleased with the quality and fit!!!!

Folks…these are NOT neoprene simple slip on covers. The Tougher Covers are WELL worth it! The process of ordering directly to South Africa was seamless and communicating with Tougher was a breeze! Shipping to the states was also easy.

Thanks Tougher! I am very happy with your product!!!! I certainly appreciate the quality checks you do and the attention to detail you and your team puts into your Product!!!

The job is much, much easier with two people.

And I agree the hardest part is reattaching those bloody clips!

I found the seat installation really straight forward. A bit time consuming until I figured out the best way to do it but not too bad. The back seat was the most time consuming for me.
