Incident one a few months ago was making a 90* left hand turn on my block. Its one way where cars park on both sides. Straightening out, the car wanted to keep going left so I had to crank hard right, I could feel pulling on the wheel, the traction control light was on, it was dry, foot on the gas, going 10mph. I stopped, got out an looked around thinking the steering linkage had let loose or something. I saw nothing, got back in ad drove away. It did it again the next block weaving parked cars. I stopped, sat there perplexed, drove on and it didn't do it again for months. I completely forgot about it. ... It just did it again today where it pulled left coming out of a right hand turn and approaching a traffic light. I had to steer right to keep it in my lane. TC light came on again. It's like it's getting a false reading and braking a tire, but I'm not hearing any traction control or sliding. I wonder if there's a rear caliper sticking and brake steering me. The Tc may see the speed difference and the car with squiggly lines pops up. Maybe? I'm just trying to piece it together.

Anyone else experience this?

Definitely no active lane assistance

With that being said, I do feel like I read something about a vehicle that had a bad sensor causing erroneous ESP activation, but I can't seem to find anything about it specifically

Again this morning while cold….

Now that I’m “expecting” it I was able to pay closer attention as to what was going on…. Ya know, it Does remind me of using an old school transfer case in 4x4, but without the hopping and chatter. I bet the t-case is binding when cold.

That doesn’t have a cheap fix ring to it.

Don’t you think that would be covered under warranty?

:/ well, I will see. If it doesn’t do anything until it’s 20* below freezing how are they gonna find it. I just drove it 4 hrs for scheduled bs, and this rears it’s head and I finally got the fuel check engine light.

It’s all a tad disconcerting.
