Sometimes, when browsing through posts and threads, I am fascinated by other Grenadiers views and opinions. This is positive. Then there is quite often a descent into negative moans and groans, forum members who often, obviously know far better than the professional designers, engineers, supply chain specialists, manufacturers, wealthy company owners and much maligned salespeople - who, obviously, are not on the correct street corner or even in the correct town.

Oh Boy.

I find negativity tiresome.

So my challenge to all you lucky Grenadier owners is to post the positive things about Grenadiers and Quartermasters. Not defenders. Not Toyotas. Not strange 4x4s that are not known in many countries.

PLEASE KEEP YOUR POSTS POSITIVE - AND THUMBS DOWN ANY NEGATIVITY THAT CREEPS IN!

Disclaimer: This is meant to be a bit of fun for the end of the year 'festive' season; and is not an attack on overly sensitive negative posters. 🎅🎄🎅

Haha! I read a thread this morning from AU and had to look up what a "Tank 300" is... and I consider myself up to speed on 4x4s.

Looking forward to my first visit to Scotland in April and hoping to catch plenty of Grenadier sightings in the wild.

I'm sure if you let the Scottish owners know where you are likely to be, coffee meets are not uncommon! (Scottish Grenadiers social group)

PS I just googled Tank 300 👍

Positives:
It feels very solid and stable to drive both on and off road.
Great paintwork quality with a limited amout of delicate plastic panels.
It feels very durable, both in terms of the body work and underpinnings, it should last a long time
Great engine and transmission
I find the driving postion ok, not the greatest but I enjoy the driving experience
The interior is great, both in the look and feel and simple to clean out
A good aftermarket is developing
Easy to modify, especially the electrical parts.
If we are judged by our cars, it says something about me. Hard to put into words.

Somehow I think this thread won't get the same level of response as those that post that they would like to set fire to their Grenadier because the glove box is too small or there is no sunglasses holder.

Great thread! Here’s why I love my Grenadier:

Rock-solid build: Every drive feels like I’m in something built to last.
Real attention-grabber: I’ve lost count of how many people stop to ask, “What is that?!” My favorite was a retired couple saying, “That’s a proper car!”
Off-road confidence: Took it on rough trails last month—felt like it could handle anything.
The Gren Grin: Let’s face it, there’s just something special about the driving experience.

It’s more than just a vehicle—it’s a community and a statement. 🚙💪

I like the idea of this thread. I have used this forum to primarily decide on build directions but have also used it to learn whether an issue I discover is something shared. I don’t count that as a negative because here I have found solutions, improvements, been kept up to date, learned a ton about the vehicle and benefitted from member’s mechanical & off roading experience and generally found support at every turn. Fine-tuning is part of the excitement that surrounds owning such a unique vehicle.

So I’ll make that one of the things about the Grenadier I’ve appreciated - the passionate group of people who have gathered to help one another as we experience a vehicle that really is like no other.

I wouldn’t trade my Grenadier for anything else because there isn’t anything else like it, nor do I think anyone else will build something so dedicated to being so purposeful. I enjoy it every outing. It’s solid and strong - we call it out ‘tank’ for a reason - and driving it never feels like you’re being driven. It feels like a tool meant to do a job and motivates me daily to get out there and put it to use.

I love driving my Grenadier's on potholed dirt forest roads, up and down steep loose sections.
I love having a winch up my sleeve and some traction boards for someone who needs it. Probably me.
I love driving my Grenadier anywhere in the city, in tight parking situations, and regularly filling to the roof and beyond with random stuff.
I love how my Grenadier barely handles differently whether it's one or five adults on board.
I love the vantage point my Grenadier gives me: up high, through a good windshield, and over a hood that tells you where your corners are.
I love looking out the side mirrors of my Grenadier down the slab body sides, to easily judge my position, width, and tire placement.
I love my Grenadier's safari windows, especially when it's grey and raining.
I love the feeling my Grenadier gives me rolling and cornering over uneven obstacles that only solid live axles can give you.
I love how my Grenadier looks parked next to anything else.
