Good summary @Ingemar

Any issues at all with the diff locks?? What's your procedure to engage/disengage. I know you have previously videoed this but cannot locate.

no issues at all. they engage really easy. the video should still be on my channel.
conditions are:
- LOW range and center diff locked
- less than 15km/h
- less than 40% accelerator
- no spinnig (slipping) wheels
...then you just press and hold the button for one second. same to disengage.

it worked flawless every time i used them.

sorry...missed your message 🙈.
when switching the transfer case you need a firm input but I always manage to change the gears without any problems. people trying it the first time and being a bit reluctant, sometimes need a second try.

Some guy in the comments asking Ingemar whether the passenger side sunvisor has a vanity mirror...
I carry a stainless signal mirror in both my off-road and marine kit. Have not needed it, but now I have another use!

As long as you don't signal O-S-O you should survive 😄

I’m looking forward to your drawer build. Leveling with the seats is my goal too, so I’m curious as to what you have in store.

@Ingemar
Are you still in contact with your other two companions Gemma and Zahid?
I would like to hear their opinion. Maybe you can make them aware of the forum.

Very similar to the Rolling Space system:

Post in thread 'Roof rack with safari windows?' https://www.theineosforum.com/threads/roof-rack-with-safari-windows.12394247/post-1333171743

Weight wise, Rolling Space are quoting:

@Ingemar really like that rack and another fine video from you. tks very much for putting it together. How do the feet rate on the gutter 'flex scale'. Are they sufficiently close inboard to limit the gutter flex?

I quite like the racks (think maybe LeTech) where there's an over hang at the back of the roof, this would help me rig up a pulley snatch blocks for the spare wheel.

now i got the figures:
  • the weight of the basic version is 47kg/103lbs
  • full version with the cover plates is 78kg/172lbs
  • there will be a shorter version as well (not covering the safari windows/front area), which will be less of course....
