I see first time "Firewall" in English text. Here are some terms I have seen/used:

AUS Bulkhead -> Firewall
FI Tulipelti ("fire plate") or Rintapelti ("chest plate")
DE Trennwand
US Firewall
UK Bukhead
SE Brandvägg ("firewall")
SP Mamparo ("bulkhead")

Always interesting the etymology of our everyday words.
I did a post a while ago - a large number of motoring terms are derived from horse drawn vehicles, pre-dating cars by centuries.

Firewall/bulkhead is interesting. Bulkhead is a nautical term for the transverse barriers in a ship, it is likely that those countries with a rich nautical history (England, Spain) adopted this term.

Firewall was a term adopted for a panel that separated the firebox in a steam driven vehicle from the passenger or driver.

On a separate point, just to complicate things, a propshaft or drive shaft is known as a tail shaft in Australasia.

Routes, which used to be pronounced roots are now called rowts by younger gens. Sounds very weird.
But at the end of the day you can't beat a root
