I'm hearing 'recirculating string steering' or RSS is making a big come back and will be standard on the '25 models

Is this the prototype IG short wheel base ??

I see they said they wanted to take some of the electronics out of the vehicle and go back to basics…seems the initial brief has been followed to the the letter by the design team 😃

(y) Easy to fix on the trail. In the dark. Drunk. And injured. With no tools. While taking enemy fire.

Ditto for that brake technology. More smiles per mile. :ROFLMAO:
Yes, the return to center and wheel jamming in a turn with the string is still being worked on in the lab - but getting there. Rope is phase 2 of the program..

Muscle memory develops quickly. I'm quite happy with the steering. Day 1 was a learning experience. Day 2> has been fine.
Our M140 Baby Bimmer though: the steering in that thing is now far too responsive. I may need to retrofit it with a live axle, recirculating ball steering and a damper.
Suffering from the same! Driving my x3 in a zig zag motion up the road now😅
