Hi, bros,
My car sounds different from yours.
When I start it, there is a significant resonance throughout the car.
When I drive it, it goes away.
This vibration is not a vibration of a specific part, but a resonance of the entire body.
When I step on the brake while waiting at a traffic light, the vibration reaches its peak.
This vibration is not a vibration of a specific part, but a resonance of the entire body.

Is this normal?

It’s normal especially when it’s new. Been discussed quite a lot regarding idling vibration. The root cause is the heavy duty engine mounts which will settle with mileage. It will vibrate all the heat shields in the engine behind the air box which can be adjusted to minimise. Adjust heat shield underneath the car. Also it may vibrate behind the dashboard area (but only some). Do a search on this forum (vibration at idle).

Hello, I had the same issue. Unfortunately my droning got worse and there was a rhythmical droning at 2000 rpm. Spoke with dealer but it’s a 12 hour drive away from me. Got to drive a dealership demo IG and it has the same vibration at idle and 2000 rpm but less than mine. I think it’s the engine mounts and the heat shields. Not sure how IG is going to fix this issue? As I said… mine just got worse with time! Seems like it’s a common issue. Driving 500km in it is murder!!! Good luck!

Every time you take it to your dealer for a service campaign or a scheduled service ask them to check and resecure all heat shields, it can make a tangible and major difference to the noise and vibrations you experience with a Grenadier. Had them done at approx six months during a service campaign and it made a huge improvement, had them done again at my first service @ 13,000kms and made another major improvement. She's smooth as now.

Yes, my dealer is also 450km ahead.

Today, when I tested it, the engine becomes somewhat weaker once it reaches normal temperature.
And when I step on the brake at a traffic light, there is a vibration, but if I put the gear in neutral, it is no change.
The vibration becomes weaker or disappears only when the RPM changes.
And I don't think the sound of the heat sink in the engine room is that loud.
The vibration occurs throughout the entire cargo space. so it's not a specific part of the cargo space, but the entire body after the back seat vibrates.
It's 1500km now, so I'll report back after it stabilizes a bit more.
Thanks.

The heat shields are at various location along the full length of the underside of the vehicle, from the engine bay to the exhaust, and they resonate if loose. Get your dealer to recure/tighten/bend the heat shields.
