Hi guys,

I wonder what you put in this storage compartment in the spare wheel?

I’ve been keeping trash bags in the back but may switch to recovery gear now that I have a rope and shackles on order.

Mine is pretty full with recovery gear (kinetic strap, tree saver, 4 steel screw pin bow shackles, 4 soft shackles, Factor55 Hitch link, extra receiver pin, WD40 for the hi-lift, and 2 sets of gloves)

Hi guys,

thank you all for your comments and impressions! (y)
This is what I ordered and will be installing soon. DaBull

That is of course awesome! 👍 Here in Germany I would be afraid if some people might break open the storage, as the locking is not very safe. So I am considering stowing something less valuable... Maybe something to do with tyres like wheelnut wrench or car wash equipment ? 🤔

Anyway thanks for your answers!

Dirty stuff that nobody would be bothered pilfering. Unlocked.

How weather resistant/proof is the lockable wheel?

So far seems pretty good. At first I wasn’t too impressed, it’s seems quite cheaply made and the lock doesn’t feel great quality but it’s not leaked for me yet, I keep the lock greased because I suspect it could easily seize up.
