Might be wax - hard to tell. But if this was my truck I would be querying the finish.

Did you ever get a chance to take a look at the fixings?I received a commercial production vehicle yesterday so will take a look when I get chance.
Any news on your collection?personally I quite like the industrial look and honesty of it. Mine is Donny grey and some of the spots were proud, some indented and some half and half. Being fortunate to have sat in my my own in the dealer, what you do feel is the overall heft and solidness of the thing. Having grown up with defenders, 110s and 90s, part of their character was the appalling welding on the window frames and elsewhere. Weld spatter was just painted over.. Classic.
It’s having the flash today. Apparently Ineos will dial in to it and do their business on it. It also has to have two pipe changing, so if it’s all done, it should be good to go as I’ve paid in full. However this is Ineos… and delays are expected for no reason.Any news on your collection?
I’ll post any developments and am sympathetic with the dealers as Ineos control registration and authority for deliveriesHopefully you get the call m8 good luck
I really don't know, and will not phone. I was at 100m of the dealer yesterday, but didn't go in, sick of waiting ;-).bon chance Ever Pragmatic.
@Jean Mercier - is yours getting flashed this week as well and do you need new pipes?
Toughen up you big Belgian waffle.I really don't know, and will not phone. I was at 100m of the dealer yesterday, but didn't go in, sick of waiting ;-).
I'll probably wait for their phone call.
I've not had chance yet sorry, as soon as I do I'll grab some pictures.Did you ever get a chance to take a look at the fixings?
It seems a combo of dial in and also personal attention:It’s having the flash today. Apparently Ineos will dial in to it and do their business on it. The waiting continues for me. I can only assume the update has gone through and that the pipes are still not fitted.. getting it this week would leave me the whole of Easter to delve in to it and get it run in.…It seems a combo of dial in and also personal attention:

Did an underseat box ever turn up?The waiting continues for me. I can only assume the update has gone through and that the pipes are still not fitted.. getting it this week would leave me the whole of Easter to delve in to it and get it run in.…
I think when Sir Jim applied to buy all the tooling, JLR had a welder that was so messy they didn't want it and gave it to Sir Jim to taunt him and dissuade him from his project. But I have a picture from the welds of the side panels of a customer car
Don’t know. It was missing the flag, rear door table and the box you described. If the software update was successful, I’m going to nip over to the dealer and have a play with the interface and other functions that were locked out in transport mode.Did an underseat box ever turn up?
fingers crossed for you EP.Don’t know. It was missing the flag, rear door table and the box you described. If the software update was successful, I’m going to nip over to the dealer and have a play with the interface and other functions that were locked out in transport mode.
