So people have started to hand over the cash in full now - but still unable to collect the vehicle and no set date on collection? If you are paying in full did they advise exact date you can drive away?

"My" contract states that the final payment needs to be received in full a minimum 2 days before hand over....

I would not be handing over any money until a firm handover date has been confirmed by your dealer, and then have the money transferred literally on the dot of the minimum 2 days before.

If they said on a Monday, "hey sir your car is now registered and ready for collection Thursday" - I would be ok transferring straight away. Have to see what our Australian final contract states...

Not sure you can expect them to register the vehicle in your name if you haven't paid for it first.

And I also don't think Ineos can expect you to pay without them advising you in accordance with clause 4.3 of the UK contract:

"When the Vehicle is ready for collection, INEOS will contact the Customer to schedule collection of the Vehicle at an agreed date and time. Unless otherwise agreed by INEOS, the Customer must take delivery of the Vehicle within 14 days of being notified by INEOS that the Vehicle is ready for collection (Delivery Deadline)."

Not sure you can expect them to register the vehicle in your name if you haven't paid for it first.

100% correct on this, without full payment your vehicle cannot/will not be registered. Systems in place simply wouldn't allow us to get to the point of registration without this.

Logically, within 2 days (according to the contract). I have to say I personally wouldn't want to pay the full amount until I know the physical vehicle is ready for the highway!

As per the email from INEOS, vehicles will be in the hands of customers soon yes. Maybe not the next few days, but not far after.
