I have owned this for over a year but just got it back from the gunsmith after a lot of work on the trigger and action to make it smoother and a bit lighter.
Added new grips, extended cylinder release fibre optic, red dot ready rear and front sights.
Pretty much a brand new toy now.

After I am able to cut and saw wood, I bought of course a fire starter.

They usually cost from 10 to 30 Euros, depending on the quality and the build.

This one is from Boeker and top quality. It is quite beefy. Handle and sleeve are made of aluminum. You screw it into the sleeve and it's well protected.
The compass is quite ok (though of course not a precision instrument). And it comes in a pretty casket.

It cost me 11 Euros at Kotte & Zeller (via EBay). For the quality it's a bargain.

I love such gadgets, in particular when they are made to last.

I bought some of them for my customers as a christmas gift: "für den zündenden Funken" / "for the igniting spark".

Most places now you are not allowed to light fires in Australia.
Two young guys went to sleep a couple of years ago on Fraser Island and left their fire alight.
It burnt for 6 weeks and took out half the island
