Am I the only one who has no clue what this is? It looks like a parachute but maybe that’s totally wrong.

It is a military parachute used for dropping equipment, not people.
i managed to get my hands on it used and thought it would look better than just the plain bare metal interior roof of the shed.
It is 6 metres in diameter or 19'8"
