Seat covers

No. My full tougher set was $405 to my door.
M&M courier charges to Australia were almost as much as the seat covers themselves! I have therefore decided to get a set of Tougher covers instead. They use FedEx Express to Australia, the cost of which is less than half of that quoted by M&M.

My Tougher seat covers arrived today. They look amazing, now need my ride. Or as my friends say across the pond "bang up job" Here is a quick pic against a grey chair. I love the dual color.

How are you guys handling the outside of the front seats? I can't seem to get it right - it's either blocking the adjustment lever or not staying on correctly. Any photos?

Here's a couple of pics of my Tougher covers in terms of the outside of the front seats:

That's how I was trying it but it hindered access tp the lever and I was afraid it could cause damage.

Does it need to be tucked in somewhere else? Seems like an area where the cover could be redesigned with a cutout or something.
Lift the lever slightly and slide! It's certainly possible with care, perseverance and ensuring all leads fully tightened. Absolutely no need for redesign.

Looks like it goes between the seat cushion and the plastic??

On my M&M covers, using a wide blade plastic trim tool I pushed the covers behind the main plastic section which provided a more 'fitted' look.

Hi Krabby, I pulled the seat cover under the plastic cover.

I think you are describing an identical fitment like Wile E Coyote has shown on the Black Duck covers above my post. That’s how I have my M&M covers fitted.

You made me post. It is supposed to go inside the plastic, not outside. There is a Tougher Video explaining all!

My guess is you are like most in this Forum, an Alpha male, who never reads the instructions, same as me to be honest.

But half the posts on here would disappear if people did! 😳😂👌

The video I watched wasn’t a Grenadier and had different style seats. Is there an IG-specific video I missed.

Also, what are these “instructions” you speak of? 🤔🤣

That sheet of paper at the bottom of the box, that your wife said, do you need this and you said nope, throw it in the recycle bin!

I put Cover King (what surfers use) covers in the Taco because of the dogs. The first set took one for the team when the Shepherd got really sick at both ends all over the cab. I cleaned, then turned it over to the dealer to pull the seats, clean underneath and install the new set of seat covers. The lingering yuck smell from my brother's cigarette-inpregnated clothing disappeared too. And his coffee spills. The covers are hard to install because the straps run under the seats but fingers crossed, the 15 yer old seats underneath look brand new. The covers have a smooth surface which I need for getting in the truck because I'm short. If I do decide to get a Gren I'll buy that brand again. Made In USA.
