Anyone else has Ineos side steps?
If you do, are they showing rust? (See images)
If they do, did you get them replaced by Ineos?

Thanks !

Yes I had same gravel rash and subsequent rust in same position as yours. I had the side steps replaced by dealer under warranty. The replacements looked to have a similar poor quality coating so I took the precaution of having them coated with 2k Raptor Coat

Mine were replaced by Ineos Automotive once they worked out that getting them refinished was going to cost more than another set.
Not sure that was a good move, I'd almost bet a good proper refinish would outlast the new ones???

Suggestion: Replace with Buzz Overland stainless steel rockslider steps.

Thank you for the suggestion. I’ve seen multiple different side steps, from various brands, but I kind of like the way the Ineos ones look. Seem to be crap quality though…

I don’t know what your winter was like this year - I have the side runners. My problem has been when there is freezing rain. Those side runners provide ZERO traction in that situation. I’m looking at Buzz and Blacksheep for that reason. I don’t know - maybe you just live in the land of fluffy dry snow where ice isn’t a big issue - but it’s a problem for me, and most of the options out there seem to rely on grip tape or tread punch-outs, neither of which are helpful with ice. I need something that sticks up above the tread plate surface - and that won’t rust.

If they will replace them awesome, but repaint or replaced, I'd just put something non extravagant, like a couple layers of helicopter tape in the areas of wear. It's cheap removable/replaceable and exactly what its made for.
