3rd party Videos Rohny Dahl video incoming

It's too bad Ronny only had the Grenadier for ~6 months. His 76 series is cool and all (and all things considered probably a better fit for what he does and his audience) but there is such a lack of good long term Grenadier content on youtube/socials. Ineos should have given him a Trialmaster and paid him to keep it lol.

Not Ronny but, one comment when driving the Grenadier "the first time ever I am disappointed in a Toyota". Not sirising the 300 series won, but in Australia there is a big bias towards Toyota.

EDIT: just noticed it has its own thread, sorry about that.

A Troopy will let you down on many counts. He's clearly under the cult influence.
Like Ronny, it may shift over time.
The next 12 months of proper testing of new Prados etc will be interesting.

Toyota are having some teething problems with the new Prado, but that is expected. But the massive engine recall on the Tundra is next level - a major stuff up by Toyota.

I saw one video on the new Prado and they all attacked the owners, they did not address the issues but attacked the owners. Some Toyota owners behave like cult members. I use to get crap from them driving a Patrol - I did enjoy recovering one such person in the Simpson Desert when his Prado got stuck.

When comparing the 250 to the Grenny Ben Hardy makes a lot of interesting points in his latest video.

He’s not loving the 250 and looks forward to getting behind the wheel of the grenny all the time. As he does his 200 Series.

Enough said.

I think the biggest problem with the 250 is that despite the name change it isn’t a Landcruiser. It’s a soccer mum Prado with a tougher looking body.
Anyone who’s owned both a prado and a landcruiser (as I have) will tell you there’s a world of difference in terms of build and capability.
You blokes in the States got shafted.

Been waiting so long for this one.

Thanks Ronny - champion. 😎

This probably doesn’t mean too much to you guys in the States, but in Australia this video is going to have Cruiser boys chucking their toys out of the cot big time!!!

Do yourselves a favour and rread the comments to this video on YT in about a week. It’s going to be awesome.

Must be high fives at Ineos Australia after that one… great to see him do the maths on what it takes to bring an LC up to spec.

A day of morning for 70 series owners has been declared. :D

Ronny came to the same conclusion I did after comparing the 70 series kitted up for my needs compared to the Grenadier. The Grenadier is cheaper, and in my opinion better (for less), for my needs. I just had to take a risk on a new brand and new car. History shows I made the right choice.

Pretty sure most people are not as forgiving with road noise as Ronny. So most would put the Grenadier ahead of the 70 series for comfort.

Would the review be any different if the vehicle was his and not supplied by Ineos for six months?
Hopefully Ronny will move from Toyota and buy a Grenadier, set it up his way and use it long term like his old dual cab. Land Cruisers have been done to death from everyone, time for something new.

Ronny would love a Trialmaster cab chassis. Add in a long range tank, Norweld tray or canopy, JMACX suspension upgrade with GVM, etc

Maybe other companies besides Norweld and JMACX. They make excellent products but like Toyota they've been in so many videos over the last ten years, time for some new set up's and brands to be showcased.
