I have been getting a strange noise from what sounds like my front right wheel , can't get a good video of the noise , as it doesn't do it constantly and not picked up with audio on my phone.

But it's like a tinny metal/rubbing noise , has any one else experienced this ?

Is it a stone trapped in the disc? What mileage have you done, and how much meat is left on the pad ( I am wondering if it is a sticking caliper ). Try reversing backwards as fast as it safe to do and the slam your brakes on, does that stop it.

Don't think so as it's not constant, I can get the noise to kick in after putting the foot to the floor but even then it's not all the time , the car has done 10k miles

How far from your dealer, that sounds a warranty job if doing it under hard accelerating. If you are South Scotland you have got Lloyd Allroad in Carlisle as a good dealer.

But then it's not every time under hard acceleration, I'll contact ineos and see what they say. My closest actual dealer would be Edinburgh but not sure if I can put my car to a service garage as there is one closer

Just went out in the car there window down , I think it's just the noise of air getting forced past the raised air intake and it's dependent on what heading I'm driving on and what way the wind is coming

I had a plastic "knocking" sound on the highway... Sounded like a loose wire or cable banging around in the front right door or wheel area. On inspection, the raised air intake has separated from the body. The lower and A pillar mounting bolts are all still tight and the intake has never been hit or knocked by anything.

hi - i have experienced the same issue - right front wheel screeches kinda noise. The first time I pointed it out to the dealer, they checked and said it was a stone stuck in the disk, but with the way the noise was "behaving" it seemed more mechanical and wasn't a permanent noise. Happened randomly and often when turning left, which puts pressure on the wheel at an angle. Dealer turned me around a few times after that because they couldn't replicate the noise when in their hands in the shop. So i was finally able to record the noise on my phone (had to turn the Bluetooth off because it wouldn't pick up noise otherwise).
Dealer / shop guys then were able to identify that when the brake disk wears, it leaves a film of metal dust that creates friction with the drum casing - apparently a "defect" that will need to be corrected. So every 3 months or so, the noise reappears, and I have to get the car in to clean up that metallic residue. I was told there is of no safety concern. They will eventually have to find a permanent fix to this - it's just that when the noise appear, I see heads turn to look at which klunker car the noise comes from. A bit embarrassing since this is a new brand. I will update as things unfold - unless someone else comments with a solution.

Mine makes the noise when accelerating usually , then stop onc win up to speed , so I wonder if that is because the dust has cleared , will need to clean it properly and see if it stops for me also
