Thanks for that Steve, I really appreciate your reply and bringing this solution to everyone's attention. The GrenX hump reduction mats look like they may significantly reduce this issue.
However, I feel Ineos should be free issuing these to buyers experiencing issues. I've had my Quartermaster now for only 4 weeks and always concious about trying to move my left foot when driving. These GrenX mats should be standard. There's a lot of bad press out there about the RHD hump.
What does Ineos think?

IMO they would say or think, if that is the only issue a few owners have a problem with, we have done well. I will have 40k on the clock after the weekend and with the driving position set up for driving a truck, I very rarely use the hump/rest and I am 183cm. I sometimes put my foot on it and still can’t find an issue 👍

I have made my peace with the hump, I have done nine hour stints in it and found the driving position to be very comfortable. There would be a reason Ineos made it this way, it would be great to know the reasoning behind it. I am sure it was not just some designer thinking "you know what, lets make the footrest bigger than required just to funk with our right hand drive customers".

I live in Australia and have a right hand drive Grenadier Trialmaster. Late last year I drove from Perth, Western Australia to Gladstone Queensland: 7 days, 8-9 hrs driving each day. Two weeks later I drove back to Perth, 6 days this time, slightly shorter route via Great Central Road with a co-driver as well. Approx 10 hours driving each day (shared of course). No "hump" problems for me on the way over to Queensland and none coming back for me or the co-driver (approx 10,000 km for return trip).

I am 173 cm (5' 8" in the old money). The RHD hump is a total non-issue for me. Move your legs & change your leg positioning as often as you can remember (you will probably be in Cruise Control so not a problem), wiggle your toes (both feet) at least every half hour and you should be fine.

The Recaro seats are extremely comfortable (for me) and its a pleasure to drive this vehicle for hours at a time over long distances. If you have any doubts about the hump, go for as many test drives as you can screw out of the Ineos salesman and you should be good to go.

Ronnie Dahl also found the RHD Grenadier foot position, surprisingly comfortable. I am in two minds. Even though I have never had an issue in 18,000 miles, I am interested in reading the feedback on the GrenX product.
