Real lift kits 4” ?

What Zimm said... and more so, it doesn't really fit the purpose/intent of the vehicle. It isn't a hardcore off road rig, it's "intended" for off highway travel.

For the 4"+ lift, you'd want to look into the LeTech/Soon-To-Be-Official-Accessory portal axle kit

I just don't think many if any current owners will use these to that level. It's more of an overlander than a crawler etc. Considering the trucks limitations it performs pretty well as is or with minimal lift. A long arm kit would be very easy, but just not practical for many. The grenadier is also a little too heavy, so it might not fair well in the long run as a more serious off-roader.

4” lift on a Grenadier - just no! I think going to that height is really just pushing into the glamour 4x4 show truck category. Considering the number of modifications and dollars spent to make it “sort of work” a show truck is basically what it would end up being. I think other vehicles would be better suited to higher lifts or rock crawling competitions if that is the mission statement.

The Grenadier is plenty capable in OEM+ configurations with sensible modifications for long distance overlanding and touring. By all means build the rig you want. I’m pretty sure most folks would stare in amazement (myself included) at the sight of a jacked-to-the-sky Grenadier with giant balloon tires as it scratches that big boy toy itch.

I never had much luck with 4” kits anyway as I’m not a “tow it to the trail” user. I like on road capability. As such, I’ve had a ton of success with 2” suspension and 2” body pucks, when necessary for articulation clearance. Get yourself the 2” lift and stick of delrin…. It’ll take 35’s with 2” and I’m betting 37’s will still have severe interference at 4”, so I’m not sure what the gain is.

Relatively low volume $80-90k vehicle that isn't set up from the factory to handle more than 2" without major re-engineering. That's really it.

There isn't much of a market to justify the development of this product.

Last I checked, the new Defender still has exactly 1 option for a real lift (subframe lift from j auston fabrications) and that took a couple years to get to market, and thats for a car that is much more common than the Grenadier. There just isn't a big market for big complicated (ie expensive) lifts for luxury priced SUVs until the used market heats up

I didn't say it couldn't. Well, pizza cutters. You're not getting the full range and typical 35's, and we already know that as common knowlege at this point. What he want's is a lift system more than the available 2", and I was pointing out tire/lift interference with the available lifts v his dream, and the lack of gain beyond 2".
