PRODUCTION IS BACK ON FOR INEOS AUTOMOTIVE

PRODUCTION IS BACK ON FOR INEOS AUTOMOTIVE

  • Grenadiers and Quartermasters will restart production from early January 2025 after critical supply shortage resolved.
  • “It’s great news that a solution has been found so quickly,” said Lynn Calder, CEO of INEOS Automotive. “Automotive supply chains are extremely complex but we were not willing to compromise on quality, so we are satisfied that we have found the best possible outcome.”
  • Sales now live in 50 countries globally, having added major new markets including Mexico and China.

London, 20 November 2024:
Having been forced to halt in September 2024 due to a critical component shortage, production of the INEOS Grenadier and Quartermaster will restart in early January 2025.

All partners have been informed and are ready to support resumption of operations at INEOS Automotive’s plant in Hambach.

“It’s great news that a solution has been found so quickly,” said Lynn Calder, CEO of INEOS Automotive. “Automotive supply chains are extremely complex but we were not willing to compromise on quality, so we are satisfied that we have found the best possible outcome.

“By this summer we had sold as many Grenadiers as we had for the whole of 2023, and are on track to have over 20,000 Grenadiers on the road before the end of this year. We now turn our attention to preparing Hambach to restart in early January and with significant growth in major new markets – including China and Mexico – and substantial expansion in the US, I believe 2025 is going to be our best year yet.”

“I'd like to give a huge thanks to our customers for their patience. We are happy to get back on track and look forward to handing them the keys to their Grenadiers asap.”

Not sure what to say to this except that it reiterates my original comment…
Hmmm, sorry about that. I'll make sure that all of my posts going forward are full of sugar and spice and all things nice. :censored:

Although I can't ever recall posting anything suggesting doom and gloom or pontificating about what Ineos has and has not done that will surely drive the company under. So I should be good there.

Dang it! I was hoping to pick up a cheap parts rig from one of the Chicken Littles around here.

Then again - have the Recaro branded seats added to the first year vehicles' eventual collector value? 🌈💰

You're lucky, just got up to -10 C
I don't think I've been at minus 10, except with wind chill factor. Had minus 20 on some mountains here.
Anyway I'm sure your Belstaff jacket or equivalent is proving tactical 😁

Notice none in the water - because summer is 11c water!
14 today. In summer it's 22.
But you know , we're hardy and rugged in Tasmania 💪 unlike Queenslanders, we don't wear puffer jackets in January here 😄

Well, I find the front seats, fairly comfortable, except for the back of my right leg, sometimes hits something. I was really hoping the second generation of the rear seats would be a more complex folding mechanism that would lead to a flatter solution. Something like where the bottom flips forward so we gain a few inches.

Does your bottom seats in the rear not flip forward and sit on the foot well? Did you slide your front seats forward.
