Power tap for radar detector

Hello everyone, just got our Grenadier home and wanting to hard wire the radar detector. I’m thinking there is power inside the forward camera housing behind the rear view mirror, has anyone removed that? If so what and where were the clips retaining it?
Alternatively, has anyone done a hard wire up by the mirror and where did you tap in if not the camera area?

What are the power requirements?

Each footwell has wire ends for a 10 amp rated circuit.

The power requirement is minimal, definitely not 10 amps, I have tapped in to over head lights or powered mirrors in other vehicles.

I have my V1 hardwired on a Blendmount; but didn't tap anywhere in the headliner. I added a separate fuse box under the rear seat and wired it to that
