Hi Sandgropers.

Anyone had a good experience with a PPF installer in Perth.

I'm looking at side protection and maybe bonnet.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Cheers

Yes. I recently had Perth Detailing Centre apply BushWrapz Pro PPF to sides. Highly recommended and very professional. There are cheaper options in the BushWrapz range too.

Hi Baders, can you give us a rough guide price please?

About $4K for sides which includes on top of the front guards and headlight surrounds.

Mad Inc are the best hands down. They use Expel the best on the market. But expensive ~ $5.5k for sides only.

My Donny Grey is currently getting a satin finish on the total car, except the roof for just under $5K from AutoFXWA in O’Connor. I’ll post some pictures when it’s finished.

I just got my car back with the Satin PPF from AutoFX WA In O'Connor on my Donny Grey. First car Des has done so gave me a bit of discount to use me as test, and he had a couple of go's on some spots to get things right but really happy with the result. Photos don't do it justice. Got everything but the top of the roof done. Being Satin, it is harder to blend in the tiny creases in places like the bonnet, but the templates he as are great for the vehicle and really happy with the job. PPF won't go into areas like the Grenadier on the bonnet but the template has the cut out perfect for the letters. I chose a darker colour as I liked it better for on-road, but knew it would scratch easier offroad so was always going to PPF it.

Yes, they did the main car door hinges but not the small rear door ones - too much movement. Took of all the side door parts, bonnet pieces etc so a lot of hours. Going back in 2 weeks to touch up any bits not sitting right after they have settled with some time in the sun.
