Owl Outdoors - Let's Talk Grenadier Parts!

Very happy with Owl customer service and rapid shipping. Just got the hidden light bar.

Has anyone compiled a wiring "how-to" for this kit? Pretend I'm a kindergartner kind...? Not completely new to 12V wiring, but not exactly smart on it either. Specifically looking for where people chose to run the power and ground cables, and do we just use the purple wire that goes to the On/Off switch to connect to the EXT1/5 wire? Also looking for where folks wired the mode selector switch into the cabin.

...answering my own post here regarding the Triple-R lightbar sold by OWL as the hidden light bar kit.
The Elite+ version comes with the manufacturer's wiring harness, not OWL's. This wiring harness will need a couple of modification to work on the grenadier using the AUX switches.
1. The purple wires on the harness that go to the ON/OFF switch will be what you connect to your EXT1/EXT5 (or whatever you choose) leads. The On/Off switch provided gets removed, and you can shorten the wires substantially.
2. The red positive 12V cable will need to be extended drastically to reach any of the positive leads on the passenger side of a US Spec (LHD) vehicle. Let's not talk about how long I spent looking for a mythical fuse box because I didn't bother to read RHD on the good ROK Dr's manual...

I spoke with tech guys at OWL. Super nice, and they shipped the light very quickly. However, their guys have not put in one of these light bars yet. They have done the Elite version (non-elite+), and make their own wiring kit for it (which is available as an add-on).
OWL tech support sent me to Triple-R tech support. Also very kind and helpful.
End result, I foolishly expected a wiring kit designed to work on the Grenadier. Not sure why I thought that, but the vehicle specific brackets work great.
Off for some minor assistance on the wiring.

Interesting. Does it pull more than 25 amps? Why not just wire the 12v connection to the EXT5 positive directly? Basically, cut off the switch it comes with, connect the power to the EXT5 power and whatever ground was running to the switch to the EXT5 ground

Ordered this last year and just getting around to the install. Wife is gone for a few days and she will never notice the new lights on the front of Scottie, this way I do not need to hear about wasting time in the garage which is really the only place I want to be. Scottie is getting his clear bra now and after that I will install the hidden light bar and the Exzeit lights (replacing the factory center lights).
The Triple-R hidden light bar pulls 10.6 Amps (126 watts). The problem I have is that I have more lights on the front. In industrial wiring we always kept the amp load to 80% of the rated loads for good practice. That would give me roughly 20 AMPs total capacity. So I will probably use the relay as I am already over the 20 Amps with my other lights. Thus I will need to run a wire to the battery to power the relay. It is going to be a great few days, doing what I want and enjoy.
