Hey everyone, what’s the size of the screws that go into the “Grenadier” panel in the overhead console? Picture attached for reference.

Do you have some tools? See what fits.
I should have clarified more, I was able to get one out via 3mm bit, but no hardware store (Home Depot, etc) or Autozone had the right thread pitch. Wanted to get the exact size if possible but longer for a bracket.

M4 Socket Caps, I have replaced them on the centre console using these and would assume the overhead console are the same:

Sorry, but its really not metric screw on overhead console. Yes, it is possible to replace, but with damages, using nails is almost the same stupidity. :)
Be careful with that.
If you know the right screws, let us know. Looks like wood screw, Inox, HEX 3mm (approxim 3,9x13)
Thank you

Well there you go, see what happens when you make an assumption. In the spirit of being part of the solution and not the problem I took out an overhead console screw and I would suggest they are a metric M4 socket cap self tapping screw (front in picture below, rear two are from centre console). I have the thread length as 12mm but the options I could find online all have points unlike the original so you may be able to use up to 14mm and grind the tip off. There are longer options up to 50mm. There are various sellers on EBay and AliExpress, I have no need to replace these so I will leave up to someone else to buy and try.

You can find them on McMaster Carr. The m4 can be ordered in two different pitches, I forgot which one I ordered. Its easy to figure out when you remove a screen and look at it with the website open.

Yes, but a M4 has a 0,7 mm pitch, because this is the standard. If it has 0,5 it must be named M4x0,5. But i do not want to "split hairs", as we say in german.

But the screw in the front of the picture isn't a M4 and no M4x0,5 in sense of DIN/ ISO.

Existují delší možnosti až do 50 mm. Na EBay a AliExpress jsou různí prodejci, nemám potřebu je nahrazovat, takže nákup a vyzkoušení nechám na někom jiném.

Thank you very much for respond. I had made a overhead shelf. Thats the reason for me in this topic. After longer (vibrating) trail. M4 (M4x19 because through shelf its not countersunk), screws released and shelf starts to vibrate as well. Yes, there is a possibility to use some screw-glue :)
But ive tryed to use former, original, screws (?M4x12?), they are short for my use, but after long driving. Still holds on position.

That looks really slick. I would use loctite blue since I have it, but might be a little tough to back out with a small hex driver, so Loctite 222 would be better if you need to buy something.

Also, is the angle just odd from your picture? looks like things would fall out.

I thought, that all engeneering ends up with glue :-D . I am OK with that.

Angle of picture looks worse than reality . The holes on the sides of shelf are for future inox barrier. But that time i used just elastic rope through them. For wallet and glasses works quite well.
