I miscalculated the service and for the 45k service booked for Jan 3rd, I am now at 46.5k. By the time it is serviced I’ll be up to 47k.
Any issues going that far out? Car runs ok

Engine sludge buildup to some degree if your running 18k intervals no doubt. :/

If you’re worried about 1.5km variance you need to double up on your oil change intervals IMO. Every 7.5k km is good for these B58 with 0w20 LL17 FE+.

I change mine every 7-8k km / 5k miles.

Cars can run “ok” with no oil changes for 100km then time for a new engine “all of a sudden”.

Diesel or Petrol? I pulled out engine oil at 15Kkms with mech and it looked as good as new... I have 30Kkms coming up for Jan service and I am betting the oil is in good condition for said kms. B57s seem to run pretty clean... anyone notice their oil quality after 15Kkms is half decent?

PS does the engine light come on for anyone else after 50 days past service dates? I had service completed by independent mech but have not wiped service notice yet - and engine light come on at day 50 - although nothing wrong with engine, oil, ad blue etc. Under menu settings, the only warning it the service interval indicator...

The warranty section of the handbook says
Vehicles should be serviced within 1,000 miles (1,600 Km) or one month of the duetime or distance.

I had an oil change at just over 14000km some of that hard offroad driving whilst in Botswana and it looked good That’s with a petrol engine.
