WOW!!

I thought we had a high diesel price here in Melbourne Australia (currently AUD 2.05); but that's only GBP 1.15

At its lowest in the UK in recent times it’s been £1.03 ish for diesel. Having looked at a litre breakdown I would appear that the UK government are responsible for around 45% of the cost of a litre in fuel tax and Vat. At this current time I think only France is higher in Europe. It was mentioned on TV the other day.
