In the German vehicles, it is not just a reflector, but equipped with lighting.

It is a reflector, didn't see it blink, but now that I look at the picture, that central part is weird, I will have to check again 🤔

I do like the look of these side markers. They are remembering me to one of my earlier cars, a Volvo V40. And if they are not as ugly as those cat eyes as seen on the us version of the porsche 924.... all good. Beside the fact, that the light source could be disabled by cutting just a single wire.

Went to my dealer yesterday: It is indeed a LED chip, saw it light up, but could not check when it blinks and when not, because my blinkers didn't work!
Obviously someone else's problem, but curious to know if it's just the indicator functions or the 4 way hazard flashers as well?
