Keep finding the off-road mode unavailable. Not doing anything different than normal . Neutral, handbrake on press and hold, pause, then quick press. Bloody annoying as then cannot cross axle lock which I use a lot.

Anyone else had this problem and found out what it was/solution????

Also less concerning was the pre-heat coil sign and main display warning. Never had that before and it stayed on for 30mins until I turned engine off. Have had the coil sign come on briefly on cold mornings as is usual with derv vehicles.

You don't need off road mode to use the axle differential locks. Additionally, for off road mode, you don't need neutral or handbrake on, just below 3km/h.

With all that being said, as a work around, you can attempt to go straight into wading mode, as it enables off-road mode; and then disable wading mode (it should leave off-road mode engaged). Same requirements for engagement.

Either way, it isn't right and should be booked in to be looked at.

thanks @anand
I cannot lock the axle diffs unless in off road mode. will try the wading but again from memory I needed to be in offroad mode to select.

Im taking it to the agent on Monday to fix the front diff pinion seals and will see what they diagnose.
