Now might be time if you were buying a Grenadier

I’m seeing dealers in Southern California offering $8500 off. Might be the aggregate of all the special discounts available (first responders, etc) but at first glance looked like a straight up discount.

Those websites are pure sht..

Only shows the extra paint color as an itemized “option”, while dedicating a ton of details to standard equipment like zero 8speed, anti lock brakes lol. However the photos indicate - safari, lockers, heated seats, compass, tow package, k02 tires… a vehicle with those options have original msrp higher than $81k, which is what the website indicates.

Don’t know what to trust

It’s across the board at all the local dealers but the detail, as you mention, leaves little to be desired. It’s like the sales manager decided to do something themselves without consulting the web guys or ????

Sierra have been willing to go beyond $8.5k discount on some existing stock. That's before Ineos incentives.

$14.5k off for a base w/ lockers (silver no sunroofs) is the best i've seen to date in SoCal. The dealers i've spoken to start the sales pitch by saying their selling quickly and only the "odd" specs get "full discount". Pick any IG on the lot however and they suddenly "qualify".
