I think Laura has a lot of work ...Well yes, getting any useful information is like pulling teeth. This is an earlier reply and I've asked for details of this "calibration":

So, customer support is only Laura?I've had three or four emails from her today.
Thinking about it, in fact it is your fault that she hasn't time to answer my questionI've had three or four emails from her today.
Lala too, spoke to her today! So, customer support is only Laura?
Probably the nickname of LauraLala too, spoke to her today!
Only when she doesn't have time to type out her full name because she has more emails to reply toProbably the nickname of Laura
OK, so you are saying it is my fault?Only when she doesn't have time to type out her full name because she has more emails to reply to
Not at all I'm saying that perhaps Laura is given an assistant....OK, so you are saying it is my fault?
How heavy is the winch that requires the springs to be changed?Just called Ineos Automotive in the UK - the rep whom was very knowledgeable confirmed that the springs ARE different if you have ordered the winch. But there is no difference in springs if the only choice is just a roof rack or not. So hopefully that puts this issue to bed....
The engineering head said the only time there are different spring types are if you have a winch or not. No winch - no different springsThen why the different rear spring rates?
70kgs for the front winch sounds extremely highI beat this one to death with Ineos - from the engineering manager the only different spring settings would be if you ordered the winch as it adds some ~150 pounds to the front. Roof rack or not options does not change it.
Was told that all in - that is the weight - even 100# or 50kg is requires different spring settings.70kgs for the front winch sounds extremely high
I would think around 35kg- 40kg would be closer
From a technical performance perspective, that is completely wrong. The engineering head said the only time there are different spring types are if you have a winch or not. No winch - no different springs
Your best bet then is to call Ineos and complain or dig in yourself and see what you can find. I am only repeating what they told me came after calling multiple times. The latest answer came from the head of engineering because this issue has been brought forward by many peopleFrom a technical performance perspective, that is completely wrong.
