I’ve lurked on here for a while but finally took the plunge this past weekend! I flew to Philadelphia and bought the truck from Tim Cooper at RDS. Base trim w/ lockers, safari, auxiliary switches, towing package, compass, etc. RDS put the 2.5 inch Eibach lift on it.
I’ve driven it about 800 miles. A few thoughts.
1. There’s nothing like it on the road. It’s just a super cool vehicle.
2. ADAS system has a mind of its own. Speed thing is obviously annoying, but the ostrich and camera lights come on fairly regularly.
3. I’m experiencing the dreaded air conditioning randomly going out deal on certain start ups. Really concerned about this one!
All in all it seems like a weird quirky truck that’s really cool with very little practicality for my wife and two small children LOL.
I’ll be putting some 35x11.50 Falken Wildpeaks on it in a few days.
