So, after asking a ton of questions, I pulled the trigger on a Silver Trialmaster. Giving up my Bronco Raptor has me second guessing as I read Grenadier issues . LOL I take delivery in the next couple of days.
Love my Bronco, but as a former Defender owner, I have lusted for one of these since I first saw one. Still, I will miss the ease of the drive, of course. The Raptor is one of best off roaders I have ever driven. It's almost not fair.

So, why am I doing this? I guess I'm just up to the challenge of moving in a different direction. Raptor is a bit "Boy Racer" and the Grenny... more refined? We shall see. Maybe less refined. Probably in many ways. I'm in a group that is almost all Broncos. This will be pretty funny when I show up in this and will I be able to keep up?

I had the dealer install the King Shocks Steering Stabilizer. Hope that was the right choice. I have heard several different opinions and many people don't mind stock. When I drove one, I wanted to immediately correct it. My kids will miss the Bronco. Hope they take to this beast!

Welcome HOME @RockettMan !

I am certain you will love your Grenadier as much as my wife and I do. Almost 3k miles on ours and we haven’t had any issues at all.

Been wheeling Broncos, Jeeps, and my most recent Tacoma and once I saw the Grenadier I was sold on it. We have had it in snow, dirt, gravel and rocks up to 12,000’ in the Rockies and it has performed flawlessly.

Personally I don’t have an issue with the steering but many have so I’m glad you got a solution for yours.

Welcome again!

Mike

Much of the time is the individual's own brain that is telling them to correct. The IG body sways a bit and as you sit up tall, your head feels the sway more than the chassis does. So, your brain tells you to correct when you don't need to. Some people can dial it out (being a relaxed driver on the wheel. Not a gripper and letting go of the wheel to realise it will go straight). Others really cannot and if the stabiliser works for them, then great. They get to enjoy the car and that is all that matters.

Some of the videos on youtube where the driver looks like a 1950s movie star driving a stage vehicle by moving the wheel back and forth are just comical.

I just got mine as well waiting for shipment! I was looking at the bronco raptor and was caught in between these two. I’m glad to hear you made the change and it fortifies my decision to have gotten the field master with the rough pack. I added a fox steering stabilizer after test driving one that had it installed.
