This kit seamlessly integrates into the original bumper shell, preserving the vehicle's stock appearance without requiring any alterations. Featuring the robust Come Up 12.5k SealSlim winch, equipped with 65ft of synthetic line (55ft usable), Increasing the length of the usable line over the factory winch by 83%, ensures you're prepared for any off-road challenge.

GP Factor Winch Mount, Fairlead, Hardware for Installation, Come up Seal Slim 12.5 RS Winch.

Questions for GP-Factor:

I believe this is the case, but please confirm the OEM Bull Bar can be installed to the front bumper with no issues after the GP-Factor hidden winch kit is installed.

What is the warranty on the kit, including the Come Up winch?

Does GP-Factor only cover the warranty on everything except the winch itself? That is, do warranty claims regarding the winch itself have to go through Come Up?

Since it is specially designed for this kit, and, thus, not available off the shelf, is there an option to buy a replacement winch if the original fails outside the warranty period and needs to be replaced and, if so, could that be purchased through GP-Factor or would we have to go through Come Up? And what would the price of that replacement winch be?

These questions are pertinent, because there are other winch options coming along for the Grenadier that appear to allow the purchase and drop in of after-market winches, though they are not hidden winches like GP-Factor's offering.

ill Try to make sure to answer all your good questions:

I believe this is the case, but please confirm the OEM Bull Bar can be installed to the front bumper with no issues after the GP-Factor hidden winch kit is installed. - Should work no issue as our bull bar that is coming soon here attaches the same was a the factory one and all the mounting points are the same. Its really a direct factory replacement.

What is the warranty on the kit, including the Come Up winch? - from our site - "GP Factor warranty it’s products for lifetime from manufacturing defects. Although most defects are found immediately upon inspection or first use by customers, as a result, We therefore hold a 1 year warranty to return items to us for full replacement or repair if needed due to manufacture defects. If you have a unique circumstance, please contact us. GP does not warranty normal wear and tear, end user use, or end user abuse. Please contact us if you have any questions in regards to our warranty. Thank you!" -So what this means is, if there is a defect, it should be found pretty early on so we can fix and replace. But we work with all of our good customers to make sure everyone is taken care of. We are just not Costco where a customer could use a product for 6 months and return it no questions asked. lol The Come up Winch I believe is a 3 year limited warranty and lifetime limited warranty on defects.

That is why we chose this winch because their support is amazing and we plan to aid customers in that and make sure they are taken care of. Nothing is worse for us than warranty work for us or our end users with another manufacturer. They are awesome with this.

not sure on right hand drive but I know our UK distributor has ordered them so they plan to install based on their experience. The website will quote shipping but you can email us so we can give a quote. Will need full address.

The mount is made to take the special come up winch. Is yours a come up?

The bolt pattern for my winch is identical, and dimensionally would fit.

Hi AJ,

I just ordered the winch. What do I need to do to get the front license plate holder? Or do I move over the stock one?

EDIT: just talked to AJ. A bracket will be available in time for the pre order shipping. They are working on making sure it's easy to use and robust for real world use. Super nice guy, I feel really confident about the order.

He also shared that the winch manufacturer will directly warranty the winch and handle spare parts. I quite like that too.

Does the winch work if engine is NOT running. Winch might be the only hope to get out from the mudpot when engine is not running. Battery has usually enough power to get the car to dry land...2-3 metres what it needs..

In not sure of the exact weight of the factory internal
Bumper but my guess would be around 30lbs. Our internal mount with fairlead weighs approx 50lbs. The winch according to Comeup weighs 65lbs. So net added weight is probably right around 80-85 lbs. I’ll try and get some more exacts soon here on the factory internal mount.

Update with official weights - the factory internal mount (non winch) weighs 22lbs. Our mount with winch, fairlead, line (fully assembled) weighs 111lbs. Net weight added of 89lbs.
