Thanks. I have an engine light on and now a clicking noise in the steering column.... dealer picking up my Gren tomorrow so we will see how these get resolved before I do anything else.
Man, that must be a real bummer. Clicking in the steering is certainly odd. Did you try hooking up a scanner and seeing what the check engine light is?
There are a few benefits to the system, better sound in spirited driving conditions as well as less restriction which is ideal with a turbo charged engine. So users have reported better fuel mileage and interestingly one guy told me, "it doesn't shake at a stop from the back pressure." There videos on our YouTube Channel that have sound clips and I am even testing tuners at this point with the system. It's quiet during normal operation but under hard acceleration and deacceleration is sounds fantastic.
Well its at the dealer now so we will see. Apparently it's a fuel system update which will clear the code and prevent it from happening again. The engine light disabled cruise control and the climate control temp which shows on the screen (when you turn the dial) is intermittent. They don't have the 'big' software update yet which everyone is waiting for but hopefully they can solve this.
not to highjack a thread but I have a small clicking noise/feel at steering column. Not load but definitely there, at first I though something was loose under care but now I think its interior or close. Let me know what they say!
They said parts are on order for the steering column, will take 2 weeks. I've upgraded to the fox steering stabilizer, they said it wasn't that. Then they dropped off my Gren while I wasn't home, engine light solved, cruise back, and it was cleaned. Hope it doesn't get worse while the parts are on the way, I have 1000 km trip this week.
yeah no problem, will let you know what parts they are replacing. I am still driving mine, it's not getting worse. Mine doesn't click when turning lock to lock standing still, only when driving it.
They told me they ordered the intermediate steering shaft. They narrowed it down to the upper u joint on the steering shaft. I guess the new steering shaft includes the upper u joint. Parts are a few weeks away.

Love this product. An exhaust and a tune for the b58 is the last things I need to do on my first Grenny. I do have a question. I am going for the no chrome look, so is there an option for black chrome/painted version (didn’t see it on your website)? I know I can probably get it powder coated on my end, but will that have any negative effect in its use? Thanks…
The renterings show stainless tips but in fact all the tips are stainless steel, but coated with a very durable matte black finish powder coat. All actual photos are in the black, that's the only way they are offered. Thank you for the feedback and I am going to make that more clear today on the website. www.design-build-go.com
