Its just a high current power socket (for plug in winch)

Ours currently don't work, and require a software fix apparently, so unfortunately they don't seem to to conform to a "just a socket" definition.

I have been informed by INEOS that on vehicles without a factory-fitted front winch, the switch on the headlining does not activate the large relais for the NATO socket. This would allegedly be due to a software control problem. It is not due to the wiring of the relay or the NATO socket.

I need to look through the advertising that INEOS supplied us with before purchase . All a bit worrying this .
