Last week one of the local news networks featured a family who were doing it tough in the floods and associated power blackouts courtesy of TC Alfred. A young lady with ahem, fussy hair and makeup, was being interviewed. She commented about how lucky they were to have a portable generator to keep the essentials running. The cameraman panned to the generator to show her hair straightener still plugged in.

Why does your toaster need to adjust for daylight savings???My toaster can figure out Day Light Savings but my $90k Grenadier can't.Wish the truck just came with a mechanical clock at this point along with all the other stuff that wasn't supposed to be bogged down by tech.

Fair point about the bus. However that’s an enduring standard and once Ineos protocols are understood, it opens the gate for more DIY and self-reliance than a proprietary bus would. No bus? Even better. That’s the stuff of dreams.

The answer is simple. The grenadier is a working vehicle. The average worker rushes around in the morning and so the ability to dashboard mount a toaster in the middle - so both driver and front passenger can have toast on the run and save time is both priceless and unique. Of course there still needs to be a clock on the toaster as the factory one would be obscured by the toaster. This in my opinion was simply a Time Traveller nipping back and inventing a toaster /clock combo device in advance of future grenadier to be invented and owners to install once they realised the enormous time savings of having a vehicle mounted toaster. True genius.

Well, it has a ton of toasting type functions. So it has a screen. I suppose they figured why not put a digital clock on the sleep screen. Great part is when the clock on the microwave and the oven resets due to a power outage the toaster is dead nuts on so you can use its time to set the errant and otherwise dumb kitchen appliances in the room. Or you can use it to set your Grenadier or VCR
