So did you buy one? My advice would have been to keep your Defender - I like mine - and buy the Grenadier for your wife. Mine was so thrilled (not). Actually she really does like it even though she wanted a small runabout that she could easily park. I have 17 inch wheels and they're fine. If I was to choose again, I'd go for the cream roof and I'd get the tow bar. I might still order the roof rack but that adds even more to the fuel costs. I'm glad also I added steps, it's a long way down.

I'm noticing that Old Defender owners are not flocking to the Grenadier. They still like their original Defenders and why not? Still hard to beat for off road and these owners don't seem to care much about comfort. Each to their own.

Most old Defender owners are too cheap to buy a Grenadier - most old Defenders were bought second hand, (like mine!)

My wife was worried that I'd keep the LR90 as a pet, but having the Grenadier to drive made the Defender feel too crude to keep for pleasure driving.
