Just got an email from agile off-road that the 2.5 fox shocks had been released for the Grenadier.
Pricey but the reviews from other truck brands have been excellent.

I just ordered the fox 2.5 DSC EVO shocks. I think the grenadier will benefit from a higher quality shock.
I was planning to get the king shocks, they seemed better for my use vs the fox 2.0 but the universal feedback i've heard from people who have tried both on other vehicles is that the 2.5 shocks are really good on highway and on offroad. They say they offer a superb ride on roads with potholes etc (and we do have plenty of those here in california).

The 5% coupon helped me in making the decision plus i wanted to get the shock before the tariffs are pushing up the prices.

Shock upgrades have been great on other vehicles, but surprisingly the Grenadier really loves higher quality shocks, and the bigger the better (ok, within reason... a street driven vehicle with 3.0s won't see any real improvement over a 2.0 shock)

These are the first shocks for the Grenadier that have actually gotten my attention. Yes Kings are nice, but they also suffer from a great deal of hype. These shocks from Fox hit the sweet spot of function and price in an adjustable, remote reservoir form factor.

Agreed. I really was on the fence on the kings. The 2.0 fox seems nice but wasn't getting great reviews. These ones has gotten great feedback from everyone I talked to. I talked to two people involved in the development of these and they where very complimentary (but considering the source perhaps a bit biased).

I'm looking forward to trying them out.

I thought fox was a USA corp, why would tariffs hit them? (But any excuse I can use on my wife is welcome) And compare the seal numbers between fox and king. I think kings are beautiful, work great in race conditions, but they get some of that easy initial stroke smoothness from single seal construction which leads to rebuilds at not daily driver friendly intervals.

Fox manufacturing a lot of their parts in China these days. I don't know if this actual model is from China but I think much of the parts are from there.

So the minimum 54% tariffs are going to make that product rather overpriced
