Missing engine temp info

I've gone through every page and sub menu: no exhaust gas temp. on the current menu options. However it may be available on the OBD2/CANBUS Diagnostics.
Need to start exploring the availability of a cost effective diagnostic reader for both the engine and the ZF box🤔

WARNING: Apparently, there are some different OBDC standards used in Australia, it was a warning I read on the ScanGauge website.

ScanGauge is a popular choice. The big question will be compatbility, there is no INEOS on the list, but that is not surprising being so new (but the BMW X3 and X5 are).

EDIT: so far I cannot find EGT as an ODBC output on the ScanGauge. With further research you can (but looking at the manual, you need IT savvy to use the X-Gauge commands to program for EGT. For some an EGT gauge will be simpler):

Did anyone confirm the answer to this query? My understanding is that the engine temp is only shown on this screen for Diesels, but not on Petrols.
That’s correct
