Americas Merry Christmas to me! (Eldoret Blue)

Any concern the Eldoret Blue is not a typical masculine color? Have you grown tired of the color and have any regrets? I was surprised how much I like the color (with the contrasting white roof like your's) when I saw it in person at the San Antonio dealer.

I picked Eldoret blue with a black roof and had no regrets on color choice (until I saw the devils red coming for 2025). I like bright colored vehicles (black, white, silver are all blah and just blend in with everyone else and Queens red was too dark for me). I was really hoping they would have a yellow, red, or orange color, but when they didn’t, Eldoret blue was the next brightest color.

After almost a year with it, I’m still happy and always get lots of compliments on the color. It’s not your typical blue.

Some things I would share on the black vs white or body color roof…
its not noticeably hotter than other vehicles (everyone was like why buy a black roof and sunroof in Florida?). I don’t notice a difference.

Black shows pinstripes more, and if you take it on tight trails the roof will show it more than the body. It’s also taller than a jeep on 35s, so the vehicles you’re with may not have the same problem)

Black roof makes safari windows more low key. A lot of people don’t notice from the outside.

Black roof blends nicely with black roof bars and accessories

Why do you care what others think ... it's your vehicle. You are the only one who matters as to what is thought of the colour. Don't live by the judgement of others ... only your judgement of you matters. Cheers!

I wish more people lived this way. I have all my life. Won’t ever care what someone else thinks of my cars, cloths I wear (and if you would see me some days you probably would loa), etc etc. guess we are just built different. Unfortunately I think my oldest son caught the “care what others think disease”. Trying to help him out of it, but once they get their grip it’s a strong hold.

Ps the first Grenadier I purchased was Eldoret blue because I love the color!!!

I'm in front of juries all the time. I can't take my 911 to the courthouse if I'm in trial. Would be malpractice; some jurors might think it's cool, others might be put off and penalize my client. No bueno.

Each of us projects an image, wittingly or unwittingly, whether we're aware of it or not. For some of us, image isn't important. For others it could be money left on the table. Prospective clients will hire me, or pass me up and hire the next guy or gal, sometimes based entirely on visceral reasons. 'Not sure about that guy - have you seen the color of the car he drives? And what the hell is that contraption? An old Land Rover?'

As the old saying goes, you don't get a second chance at a first impression.

I've seen millionaires wear very worn polos with some swiss cheese holes. Love them!!

Those "Prospective clients" are not the ones you want to work for. My profession is a people profession too. You will be more successful the happier you are and that translates to strength /confidence which people can see ... chose the colour YOU want. I doubt the judgemental "Prospective Clients" percentage make up every 0.01% of your overall potential clients. Strength of your work to do will get you the clients you want to keep. I wouldn't want to work for anyone that would judge me negatively first by my colour choice or my vehicle ... their loss for not seeing past the tip of their skinny nose.
