Hey folks,

We’ve driven our Grenadier all the way from the Netherlands to Indonesia and shipped it from there to Australia. Tomorrow, it finally rolls out of the container in Perth. But let’s be real—who can even drive around Australia without a bull bar?!

I’ve already asked the dealer, and they’re getting back to me with a quote. But in the meantime, if anyone has an OEM Bull Bar for sale (or knows a good place to find one in WA), I’d love to hear from you!

Also, if you have any other must-have accessory recommendations for tackling the Aussie outback, let me know—I’m all ears!

Cheers,
Alexander

When you get to Brisbane let’s have a forum meet up.
I’ll love to share a couple of beers and hear all about your adventures!!

You’ve obviously traveled a huge distance and know what you’re doing, so my only advice would be to make sure your tyres are in good condition with lots of tread.
Coming into the cooler months is the perfect time to visit the centre. Make sure you have lots of water on board but you probably know that.
Enjoy!!!

If you don't have one, an 80channel UHF radio should be in your kit (maybe just a portable with provision to power from your car). We use Ch40 for road comms (truckies mostly). Starlink will work too, with good coverage in Australia.

If you're over on the east coast, and Central Coast in particular (so about 100km north of Sydney), let me know - there's plenty of places to see here - stretching from the Watagans, up through Glouchester to the Barrington Tops National Park. A bit further west is Bathurst (where they hold the famous Bathurst 1000 race), and more importantly the Sofala Hill End and Bridle Track.
