Curious what everyone using the two interior footwell 10a circuits for! Looking for some inspiration.

Also looking for confirmation that if I have the full switch panel, but only the one battery that I still have the two under-hood circuits, one 10a and one 25a?

I installed two 12V sockets, because that allowed for mot flexibility. Bought 12V - USB-C chargers with 100W outputs for speed charging. Charging phones, flashlights etc.

Am about to install an iCom VHF radio and connect to one of them. IMG_1255.jpegIMG_1253.jpeg

To power my two UHFs (CB radio) and 2 USB sockets. I added the two USB ports to this panel.

Another Australian owner gave me the idea (cannot remember now who it was, but fairly sure they used TJM Brookvale). It was Michael H or @CBN Cameron from my dodgy memory, probably Cameron.

I installed the owl twin arb compressor under the drivers seat. However i dont like that the ‘regular’ install (using the arb switch and harness) means that the compressor is independent of the ignition. Going to wire the driver side (INT1?) to trigger the compressor instead. The passenger footwell is going to power my midland mx275 radio.

I put USB and USB-C outlets on the dash as general purpose outlets.
I use the USB-c outlets to power phone chargers from Quadlock.
This allows me to charge phones when the vehicle is off as well as while driving.
I have one for work phone and one for personal phone.
I also took power from the back of one of these outlets to power a dashcam so it is powered on or off by the switches rather than engine on function.
I can leave the dash cam on and recording even when the vehicle is parked.

John Canny fitting a UHF (RHD Grenadier), using the left-hand footwell power outlet. You will need to view it on Yioutube.

Nice, good video. I have the same thoughts as him, trying to figure out a good long term location for the mic.

I’ve been thinking about a microphone extension cable and running it from the unit in the footwell up to the roof switch panel. Maybe even behind the panel and cutting a little square out of the blank to plug the mic into or something. Idk, have to noodle on it more

My mic is located at the bottom of the driver's side A pillar, just were it meets the dash - RHD vehicle. After I took this image I used some Goop to hold the mic against the pillar, as the tape alone was not enough. It has stayed in place with the Goop.
