INEOS Media Ineos - My Grenadier Video

And suddenly, "Donny Grey" looks good.

Hm.

Congrats, Dave! ?
Well done mate - awesome news. When did you initially put your $800 deposit down?
March this year.

Ha, that's cool. Slightly Top Gear-y!

You can't fault the efforts that Ineos are going to to re-assure their first customers...

March '22 deposit
July '22 ... confirmed order (full payment?)
and an... April '23 build...?

seems a long time between confirmed order and build date?

Lots of people ordered before I did I guess.
They kept sending me prompts to order if I wanted an earlier date but to be honest it suits me perfectly
Final payment on my existing vehicle, which this will replace, is 21st May 2023.

Ok interesting. So when they prompted you to make order contract binding, you were able to effectively hold off?

All they said was if I wanted to keep my place in the build queue I needed to place an order by a certain date
I didn't
They came back to me a month later and the same
A couple of weeks ago they contacted me and said if I wanted a build date in early 2023 I had to order by 30th July.

Thats interesting. At least they gave you a few options/ chances, and didn't just throw you to the back of the queue (via a new order)

Well I had my order confirmed on 18th May and just last night (29th September) I got the virtual video.

Clearly, the tinkering with the online system, with estimated build month info going blank, is reaching other parts as well.
