I just ordered Method 706s from WheelsSetGo. I had not planned on buy wheels now, but they were on Sale for $247 (from regular price of $309), so I said ef-it.

Saved $300 bucks! Hopefully the Mrs. doesn't notice them in the garage 🤣 🤣

Looks like a handful of 17-130x6 wheels are ON SALE

These wheels are great. These and the Evo Corse Dakar Zero which I have ordered. Plenty of photos of the 18" Dakars on here but not many of the 17. Found this German vendor that has them on a car.

Beadgrip’s, nice one!

As an aside, I was never really interested in the factory alloys (wasn’t crazy about the look and wanted something more unique). Having said that, I just looked at the configurer and had no idea how expensive the jump to 18s is from the factory.

Going from 17 inch steelies to 17” alloys is $735 (about half what I paid for Methods). Not bad at all IMO.

But going from 17s to 18s steelies in $935 or 17 steelies to 18 alloys is $2250! I know that include what is probably a more expensive tire, but nearly an extra $500 per wheel/tire combo seems a bit steep.

18's on this rig is nothing but bling. Fashion before function!
18"s on a 32" tire are a bit large, but certainly won't prevent you from airing down. Once you're at a 34 or 35" tire, the 18" wheel becomes perfectly fine.

Then again, the premise of the Fieldmaster is a "luxury" style SUV that is still capable, and the 18" wheels allow both of those boxes to be checked

What's the weight of the 17" steel wheel and how much would you be cutting down going to these aluminum? I ordered with the steel just because I didn't like the other options but may get something else.

Did you buy 5 rims? Come on @Krabby could save some cash for tires. You only need 4 because the spare has the cover and you only use it to get you home.
