I'm looking at the Black Rhino Yellowstone wheels.

The Black Rhino Yellowstone or Stadium wheels come in 16"and 17" diameters (8" wide) and 38 and 45 mm offsets. Can 16" wheels fit a Grenny without interfering with the brakes? These offsets are only 7 mm difference. Which would be preferred? I've run 16"ers for decades on many 4x4's but now BFG KO2's are not made in 16". But Goodyear DuraTrac are. Thoughts?

I agree with Krabby, also I think there are better looking BR wheels out there (subjective I know) if I was going to buy aftermarket wheels.

These look very similar to the OEM 17” alloys, which I do quite like (I have them).

16s won’t clear the brakes.
Hey, maybe we can do what the new Defender boys are doing and grind some of the brake caliper off just so they can fit 18s..I can only imagine what my wife would say if I were to buy a new Defender and pull the grinder out and start shaving off some metal from the brakes...don't worry, hold my beer and watch this!

Fine. 17"ers it is then. May not end up with wheels like in the picture, leaning more towards the Stadium. Have them on my Sprinter. But, what about that offset??

This website will let you visualize the differences
That helps, but each vehicle is different in regards to the shocks/struts/springs that must be kept clear of the tire/wheel in all positions. That can only be done with trial and error. For my Sprinter, it was easy since SO many vans were getting upgraded tires and wheels from numerous sources. My 144" 4x4 VS30 uses a 38mm offset on Black Rhino Stadiums for the BFG 275/70/17's with the Van Compass 4.3 suspension kit. Either I take my chances or wait for knowledgable sources to do the math for their customers first.

EDIT: I think I don't need to worry about that with that calculator, as it will compare the width and fit compared to stock. Thanks.

To compare, I still need to know the offset and wheel width of the stock steelies. Where's that??

Nice wheels.
I am looking at the G-FX MV3. Are +60offset and 3,600 lb load capacity. And ~$100 or so less per wheel than the Black Rhino. if anyone has experience with these, i welcome it. Thanks.

I don't know that anyone is running a 60mm offset wheel; I would recommend the ET40 model instead. The ET60 will move the inner side of the wheel/tire towards the suspension ~11.5mm in comparison to the stock setup

Hi Shaky, I agree with you on the OEM 17" alloys. For the first time, I don't need to purchase after market rims and store my OEM's in mini storage. DaBull

I have bought 5 black rhino Yellowstone wheels in mat black 38p, I obviously think they are a good looking rim, and they are a 1,500kg rated rim compared to the factory approx 1,200kg rating, so good for a gvm upgrade.

Does anyone know how much a set of OEM steel 17s will run?

Not a direct comparison, but I sold my OEM steel wheels with tires from the Sprinter (<800 miles on them) for <$400, and that took a few weeks to move.

Unless something goes crazy with what everyone is willing to spend, I'll probably list my OEM Steels + Bridgestones for $450obo and they'll have <500mi

In that case, I think the tires are more valuable than the wheels - the 6x130 bolt pattern doesn't seem very common bar the Sprinter. You might be better off dismounting the tires and sell them without the wheels - you could easily get $125 a tire I think.

I'm thinking Method 706s with Wildpeak 285s. 17x7.5/6x130/50/6.2" is the sizing, which should work AFAIK.

I photoshopped this:
