Hi everyone, we are taking delivery of our new Trialmaster on Tuesday, will join 2 300tdi D90's already in the family. I rather suspect that the IG will see the defenders relegated to occasional hobby car status. Very excited about the vehicle.
Cheers!

Exciting adventure we're all on here. I'm a bit concerned about all the bugs that are reported here, but I'm hoping a lot is ironed out in the current batch.

Generally I think the bugs are unusual for new deliveries. Bottom of door seal comes loose - little 3M tape does the trick. Door handles can stick - easy fix. Don’t do a lift - yet. Yeah, there can be some AC quirks, and the European ADAS clicks and bongs are annoying, but you know about all of that. If the on-road steering annoys you, check the tire pressure - often set too high by the dealer. Or you can consider the Fox damper from Agile. You’re probably not going to see anything more serious - and if you bought it for what it’s intended, I’m sure you’ll love it.

Welcome to the board. I joined today as well. Took delivery today. I hope you enjoy yours.
If you’re an angler, curious what you decide to do for rod mounts. It JUST fits a 9’ rod on the interior. Otherwise you have to break it down or go up top.

Fair question

1) i bottom fish alot, so those rods are on the boat in the keys
2) if i fish Sebastian Jetty for snook / Reds / Tarpon. My jig/poping rod is 8’6”
3) For the surf all my rods are 10-12 foot long amd two piece.

So it hasnt become a issue yet. But i did measure for the longer jetty rod. 😂😂😂. Fly rods obviously break down to at least 3 if not more sections.

What i did like is that the Grenadier is rated for 7700 and the Landcruiser was only 6k. My bay boat fully loaded with trailer is around 5500. So i feel more secure in the rating difference of the Grenadier.

I really cant complain so far. Its just a week. But no AC issue. Ive learned to slam the doors, and the ADAS doesnt bother anymore. Steering i have gotten used to. And it has been great in the sloppy rain we have had here last few days. Very planted drive.

The only thing that could have made it better (because first world problems 😂😂). Is having the diesel option. 😂😂😂
