Hi,

A customer of mine introduced me to the Grenadier Forum, I've been in the Facebook forums for a little while now and wanted to expand into the Global Forum.
I currently work as a Vehicle Technician on the Ineos Grenadier and Quartermasters, supply and fit various accessories and overlanding equipment, and also create retrofit solutions to these vehicles upon request.

I thought I'd pop into the forum to assist on occasion, share my interests and appreciate others, but also to see what great designs and ideas other members share.

Looking forward to speaking with some of you.

Many thanks,
Tom

Welcome to the forum. I'll save our thousand of members the time of asking a very important question - do you have access to the official IA repair manual/software?!

Welcome to the forum.
Morning Tom. Where is the dealership you work for based in the U.K. Can you help with importing and fitting a Long Range Automotive auxiliary fuel tank from Australia to fit to my petrol Grenadier.

Tom - if you feed this Gremlin, may God have mercy on your soul. But yes - @Krabby’s question. No particular reason for asking - only mild interest.

Hi Krabby, I have access to an online portal for technicians workshop manual etc, but I don't physically have a copy of the manual or software if that answers your question.

Good morning, I'm up at Carlisle. We do a lot of accessories etc, fitting such items is no problem at all. As we are primarily a dealership with an interest in accessories, our knowledge and access into shipping parts from across the globe is very limited. I'd be happy to assist as much as possible if you are able to import the tank over, and we can discuss from there. Hope you find a solution, I'm sure others would like to do the same.

I was referring to either, but assumed the online portal was what you had. This, BTW, is awesome - provided you're willing to share some images and info! ;)

I can assist on occasion if you struggle with removing a component etc, but my involvement in the forum isn't to be used as an open door into the Ineos Manual if you like. This is my personal time I use to communicate and watch how others create even better vehicles out of these Grenadier. Feel free to ask for assistance or some information and I'll always do what I can!

Oh - you guys will get there. This group is like the Crimson Permanent Assurance (look it up if you’re too young to get the reference) - plundering and pillaging the globe for Grenadier accessories and mods, far and wide. If there is a front drive shaft and lift mod made with secret mermaid technology in the lost city of Atlantis - this group will find it. Good luck in Carlisle - don’t let us sucker you into becoming our Help Desk. Otherwise, you’ll have to put up with nonstop whining from Australia (well - they don’t whine very much and usually make everything themselves), Dubai, the US, S Korea, Belgium . . . but mostly the US. We take victimization and martyrdom complex to the next level, so you would never have time to work. Speaking of which - my check engine light came on last night after refueling, even though I just had the SW update to fix it last month . . .

I love the reference, but you were quite right, I am a little young for catching it off the cuff. And I appreciate your words, I may not be a help desk, but on occasion the little assistance I can offer can no doubt be shared.

We aren't quite inundated for severe off road capabilities, off road protection, lift kits and the likes just yet. For the terrain over here, the Grenadier is more than capable spec'd with BF's and diff locks. My main market is lighting options really.

Weirdly, I've never come across that issue in the UK. We always have a reason for the light coming on as opposed to overfilling the fuel tank causing it.

I’m just giving you a hard time. There’s a TSB out on the fuel issue - and @anand helped me clear the code. If we’re honest, the Grenadier spec build is perfectly adequate for almost any terrain and adventure - but most of us are impossibly immature and are living the adventure of our 6 year-old selves. THAT’S the reason for 80% of what we do. And if you tell anyone, we’ll have to kill you. Welcome to the forum, don’t get baited, and be sure to look up Crimson Permanent Assurance on YouTube. Some of Monty Python’s finest work.

I appreciate it, it's similar for the equipment I supply and fit. Likelihood, it won't be used for its true purpose, but my god don't the Grenadiers look good with all the overlanding kit on! I'd drive one daily with it racked up to the eyeballs with off the grid equipment just to pop to the shops.

Seems like you have a similar level of emotional immaturity- you will fit right in with this group of clowns.
