How do you turn the headlights inside of the main exterior headlights? I've been told with the button on the inside which I've tried and it does not work? Even with high beams?

Are you talking about the fog light, it is the button in the front side of button on the blinker stalk (RHD), if you are.

When on, an amber light comes on the dash.

You can only use them with high beam on AND (in some countries) only when in off road mode

It normally works without offroad mode.

Press the button, as marked in the picture below and switch on your high beam headlights. Then, the inner headlights will be active.

I think it depends on the country specific setup to comply with the relevant regulations. In UK and I believe EU it will work on road but extinguish when dipped main beam is used. ie works only with main beam. I think in US ( and maybe Aus) it will only operate in off road mode.

Yeah, in the US, it only works when in off-road mode and the high beams are on. If the need to be in off-road mode is a software-based restriction (which I'm guessing it is), someone smarter than me may be able to figure out a way to change that programming - obviously to only be used responsibly when off-road.

Thanks. What is the difference between off road mode and normal mode?
What Jean said, and also disables the automatic park when you open a door, etc.

Did the dealer give a thorough briefing about all the systems when you purchased it?

We don't have the rear fog in North America
